Awaiting Total Thaw

I was amazed from where you stood,
Frozen, next to me, like a tree
Your aura branching out, shading my troubles.
And in the ice around your pain
I find solace

For I know I can be of help,

As your eastern self wafts through my senses,
Starting fires throughout my western world,
I conjure our lurking ghosts,
Banning them to a status of persona non grata,
Mad hatters after our eternal souls

Who feel they can be of help.

Let me imbibe you,
Feel the rage of the very present passion
You've hidden so damn well
Until now.
The ice must be boiled

And I know I can be of help.
